Addis Standard

Addis Standard is an independent English-language Ethiopian news outlet owned by JAKENN Publishing P.L.C. and founded by journalist Tsedale Lemma in 2011. It focuses on Ethiopian domestic politics, human rights, and socioeconomic affairs rather than U.S. politics, and carries a broadly critical posture toward the Ethiopian government. Because it rarely covers U.S. domestic policy, its stance toward the Trump administration is largely neutral by default.
