The Charlotte Post is a family-owned African American weekly newspaper based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and one of the oldest Black publications in the state. It is owned and operated by the Johnson family, who have run it since 1974. Its coverage consistently reflects a Black community perspective and has been critical of Trump administration policies, particularly on immigration enforcement, healthcare access, and other issues affecting African Americans.
