MarketScreener
French-based financial information site (non-partisan, market-focused)
Background
Franck Morel founded Surperformance in 2001. The company first published the French-language site Zonebourse.com, which became a leading French-speaking financial information site. It later launched the English-language MarketScreener.com, which grew into about 17 international editions in several languages. The 4-Traders brand and app evolved into MarketScreener around 2018, according to app-store records. The site reaches several million unique visitors a month, according to the company's own figures. Much of its content is aggregated from news agencies and press releases, and some is written by its own staff. Partners include MT Newswires, and in 2024–25 it announced a content-authentication partnership with Wiztrust to address financial misinformation. I found no major editorial controversies in my searches. Its perspective is that of a market-oriented investor-information platform with no explicit political stance. Its political coverage mostly reflects wire-service reporting on market-moving events, and I could not verify its outlook beyond what the pages I found described. I could not open the About page directly, so details on ownership and finances come from search summaries and may be incomplete.
