RedState is a conservative opinion and news website owned by Salem Media Group through its Townhall Media division. It began as a multi-voice conservative blog but was reshaped under Salem's ownership into a strongly pro-Trump outlet, most visibly through a 2018 mass firing of writers who had been critical of Trump. Coverage of the Trump administration's second term is broadly supportive in tone.
