Turkish media-ownership monitors and others describe A Haber as one of the country's most openly pro-government channels. Critics point to its minimal coverage of opposition figures and court cases involving opposition politicians. A News carries this perspective to international audiences, emphasizing Turkish government positions on security, the economy and foreign policy. It has not been a source of independent investigations into the government. Its coverage of the Trump administration is not tied to a U.S. partisan outlook. It tends to follow President Erdoğan's relations with Washington and covers U.S. policy as it affects Turkey.
