It takes a liberal, press-freedom-focused, accountability-oriented line and is known for hard-hitting coverage of Philippine power. Its U.S. coverage reads as mostly critical of Trump administration policies such as USAID cuts, and that coverage tends to focus on effects on the Philippines and the wider Global South.
