Ukrainska Pravda is Ukraine's most-read independent online news outlet, majority-owned by Czech-Ukrainian investor Tomáš Fiala's Dragon Capital since 2021. European Pravda is a separate but affiliated outlet focused on Ukraine's European and Euro-Atlantic integration, run by journalists Sydorenko and Panchenko and funded mainly by Western democracy-promotion grants. Both outlets approach coverage of the Trump administration through the lens of Ukrainian national interests, consistently scrutinizing U.S. peace proposals and policy shifts that they frame as potentially advantageous to Russia.
