WWAY

U.S. local news, mostly neutral

WWAY is a commercial TV station in Wilmington, North Carolina, owned by the privately held Morris Multimedia. It runs conventional local news (crime, weather, government, community events) with no clear partisan slant. I found no evidence of a consistent pro- or anti-Trump editorial line, and its coverage of the administration is mostly limited to wire-style reporting of national stories with local effects.

Owned byMorris Multimedia, a privately held, family-controlled media company based in Savannah, Georgia. It has owned the station since 2006, when it bought it from Raycom Media. A June 2026 trade-press item mentions an FCC filing involving Morris Multimedia and WWAY with a $431,180 price. That is probably a small transaction, and I could not confirm what it covers.
